Eclectic Home Tour – The Picket Fence Projects
Today’s Eclectic Home Tour belongs to Caitlin of The Picket Fence Projects who is a girl on a mission to transform her house into a beauty on a budget (affiliate-she has my favorite metal bed)!
A vintage icebox greets all who enter.
A cozy place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the cook.
The world’s most organized pantry.
The rustic stone fireplace takes center stage in the white planked walled living room.
A boring coffee table gets a rustic plank makeover.
Love the natural wood against the white walls …
Nautical inspiration in this peaceful bedroom.
I have been on the hunt for a fiddle leaf fig.
Ready for guests.
This is a whale of a nursery.
An old metal basket turned light fixture makes laundry almost fun.
There’s even a very patriotic guest house!
The Picket Fence Projects has definitely made her house a home.

What a great home tour-very fresh and has a spare beauty about it. Love it. AND I love the Duluth Trading Co shirts. They make wonderful, durable products. xo Diana
I love the spare beauty too – but know with the amount of hoarding … I mean collecting I do, that would never work in my house!
I love this series where I can see such beautiful homes and great ideas. Caitlin’s home is filled with the best vignettes of vintage items. Scrolling back to see that I did not miss a thing!!….Love those plaid shirts from Duluth!!
Have a great weekend!
Agree Shirley – it’s simple so we can take in all the little details!
Adorable house – love the decor!
Loved everything about her house except the nursery. Fishprints over the crib? Really? No color to stimulate the baby’s senses…blah.
Hi Denise, I’m sorry you feel that way about the nursery and whale tapestry but I can assure you that he gets plenty of colorful stimulation throughout the day and there’s a mobile that hangs over his crib but was taken down for the photos.
Beautiful home, love the bay window in the kitchen! The stone fireplace is so cozy! Thanks for sharing!
What a gorgeous home! Love the red and white polka dot runner! Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing.

Will need to go back thru to view rooms again. Love this home. So spare and serene. Great ideas all
thru. Love your home tours. Happy Sunday
I know – makes me want to redecorate my whole house!
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home. The bay window…perfect place to curl up with the Sunday paper. The soft colors and nautical touches are wonderful. I totally agree with you on Duluth Trading. Being from MN…we’re lucky enough to have a store just a short drive away. I buy the flannel shirts for my husband but…he catches me wearing them all the time. Have you tried the Henleys? Don’t say I didn’t warn ya! Puppy kisses to Sushi!
Kerry – I’d go wild in that store! Yes, I do have a white henley and it’s the comfiest! Sushi says thanks!
So charming, fresh, beautiful and young! What a cool idea to use the icebox 🙂 And that pantry, how awesome! Fabulous tour. Love this home. Cheers
Thanks for the feature Kelly!!
sorry if it has been asked, but where did you get the iron bed from??? I love it and have been looking for something like it…the rest of the house looks lovely 🙂
I love your site! Where could I find a glass cart like the one you show next to the bed in the guest room? We are updating our master bedroom and plan to get an iron bed.
What’s the paint color in the bedroom at the top? Love everything!
