  1. I LOVE all the color. This house makes me happy. BUT, I hope the window over the gas range is fixed. Most building codes do not allow a working window over a stove. The flame can blow out and create a deadly situation.

      1. Yes Jane, thanks for the tip! I never thought about it being so dangerous, but it makes sense. Maybe a secured decorative window is perfect. I love this! The stove is beautiful!

  2. Oh my goodness I’m going to need to PIN every image. And why not put the stove in front of a window?

    1. Flames and blow out and curtains can burn, both very dangerous situations.. It is often a building violation.

  3. I Love everything about this beautiful home !! The colors and style are so perfect. This is the happiest house I’ve ever seen.

    1. Totally wired. On page 28 of the Country Living Magazine I received today, is the chippy a photo in this post, the chippy green dresser with the yellow and white wall paper. I was reading the mag Abdul said, I SAW THIS ALREADY. ?

  4. Thank you so much. I just found a great idea for my kitchen and family room flooring.

Love how right and cheery all the rooms look.

  5. I am such a fan of Alison Kandler’s! She’s the reason I opted for red glass cabinet hardware in our kitchen re-do. All those scallops in that kitchen rule my little world. The stove in front of the window is certainly unusual, isn’t it?

  6. This is one of my favorite houses EVER. I have had the kitchen bookmarked for a long time, and I have just added the other rooms to my Pinterest board “Favorite Spaces and Design”. Only the VERY best make it to that board 🙂

  7. I love the idea of dressers in th Kitchen.
Bought awhite dresser about 2 months ago and I thought about putting it in my Kitchen but thought people would think I was crazy. But after seeing this picture im going to do this. Thank you

  8. I love every inch of this home ! Just looking at it gives me the courage to step out of my comfort zone of plain vanilla to a jumbo box of crayons . Thank you for the inspiration ! Annie
