Have you seen my dresser planter, toolbox planter & mop bucket planters?

I couldn’t let them have all the fun.

Discarded on the thrift shop floor sat this giant candleier.

What better use than a trellis for my morning glories.

  1. Kelly, hope you had a wonderful July 4th! I love all of these unique and beautiful garden containers! They are all so whimsical and charming! Pinning and sharing on my FB page today! Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

  2. These are great! I love your glider – it’s the elusive piece for me. I’ve been going to yard sales, estate sales and flea markets most all my life and I have never ever seen one and since they don’t make them anymore – that’s the only way you can get one!

  3. I canNOT believe you found that chandy at the thrift shop. It’s AWESOME ! I never find anything like that. sigh. I am loving your little gnome…I’m a gnomaholic. Colanders are the perfect planters, don’t have to get out the drill. All lovely ! Thanks so much for sharing…. now I’m going to look at your patio. 🙂

  4. Kelly, I love your planters! The chandelier is way cool. Passion Vine would look great growing all over that chandelier! It’s an easy vine to grow, just like the morning glory, but blooms all day and it’s a perennial. I’ve been making little Fairy Gardens out of cute containers and that colander would be perfect to add some miniature garden bellies, much like your sweet Gnome. Thanks for sharing!!

  5. Love your thrifty finds and how you reused them! A discarded chandelier as a trellis – that is truly awesome. Hope you’re having a great holiday weekend!

  6. Once again, i love that whenever I click to visit you I find something exciting I can actually do! {Rereading that sentence visiting you I also find my inner poet, don’t ya know it!?} Enough of the rhyme, I’m in love with the giant chandy; I have absolutely GOT to start thinking PLANTER when I’m out and about at the thrift shops and tag sales! Make it a wonderful day…. jules

  7. CUTE and it already has the holes for drainage….SMART, Love & Blessings to you/yours…

  8. These are awesome ideas! I love everything you’ve done here, especially reusing the candelabra for a trellis… We love upcycling old things for decorating our gardens…. We get creative AND save stuff from the landfill!

  9. You are a true genius!! Never would have thought a chandy for trellis!!!!! Love the colander too and btw, I will steal that marble top table if I ever get to visit your lovely home Kelly!!!!

  10. Just now reading up on my favorite blogs. It takes a vacation to allow myself time to relax! I love the junkiness added to your Garden. But my favorite is that Retro Marble topped table where your Colander and Gnome are hanging out. Where did you find that? I LOVE!

  11. Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Finding the
time and actual effort to make a top notch article… but what can
I say… I hesitate a whole lot and never seem to get anything done.
