Deck the Halls – Christmas in My Kitchen
I’ve been decking the halls and trimming the trees (the many, many trees).
Christmas spirit is in the air.
Hopefully, you’ve seen my full Christmas House Tour.
I forgot to add the most used room in the house – my kitchen.
It’s where the hot chocolate is brewed, the popcorn is popped and the carrots for Rudolph are sliced.
It’s about simplicity and the most important thing around the holidays …
the food.
A batch of glittery dollar store reindeer becomes a garland with a little baker’s twine.
Oh, and the cookies are baked here too.
Help yourself to a cookie baked by my daughter and covered in my etched Let Them Eat Cake cake dome.
The flocked white Christmas tree is all Shiny Brite.
A much different look than the white mason jar Christmas tree from last year.
Can you spot our Elf on the Shelf, Hot Tamale? He’s the one clutching the overripe banana!
I’ll be seeding this bundt ban Christmas tree topper when I whip up a batch of my favorite pomegranate martinis.
Want more Christmas eye candy?
Check out my Christmas Home Tour.
I’ve got 11 creative friends who have been decking their halls too!
Stop by my fabulous friends to see what they’ve got up their red Christmas sweater sleeves.
Flocked white tree and Shine Brite love! I’m coming back for a Pomegranate Martini after 5:00 🙂
Kelly….your kitchen is beaming with the magic of Christmas….love that reindeer garland and the white tree of vintage ornaments…i can just hear the laughter of your family and friends enjoying themselves in your gorgeous kitchen. I love your kitchen!
I love your white tree with all the colorful decorations, it’s just beautiful. I may have to look for a white tree, I really am inspired by yours.
Your kitchen is so festive and bright, Kelly. My favorite is the glitter reindeer garland…ingenious! Now, about that martini…
Kelly, I love your kitchen decorated with your cute vintage items. Great tree.
So pretty! I really wish I had room for a Christmas tree in our kitchen. Thankfully, I can at least see our tree from the kitchen this year since we moved it to a new room.
so pretty! and it’s only 8:30 and i want a cookie.
I want your kitchen!! It’s just beautiful. As I start planning out kitchen remodel, I keep turning to yours. Love it! And it looks great with all the Christmas decorations!
I love that reindeer garland!!! You must share how you made that! And i also love all the subtle but wonderful touches all around! You never disappoint!
Kelly, those Shiny Brights looks so gorgeous against your white tree branches! Love your kitchen and I’ve always lusted after your red stove! Wonderful touches of Christmas!
SOOOOOO very pretty Kelly. I love it all.
Oops! I should have proofread my comment. I meant to say the Shiny Brights look so pretty against the white branches. Need one more cup of coffee this morn or a pomegranate martini!
Your kitchen is just wonderful. 🙂
Kelly I could sit in your kitchen all day…it’s so welcoming and fun. That white tree is fabulous too…thanks for doing Deck The Halls!
Well, once again, DFF, you have not only reaffirmed the DFF status- same spice jars (which were my Mom’s!), same scale, lots of similar vintage ornaments – but you have inspired me! I am now on the lookout for a white tree (oh, wish I had known this during garage sale season!) and a little rosemary tree. Save one of those peanut butter blossoms for me, wouldya? I think they go with martinis….
PS Idea: spray flocking on a green tree (I have one of those!!!)
love the old Christmas ornaments….I have many….
Oh, this all looks so beautiful…LOVE your home!…..
my husbands retiring today!….it’s his last day…it’s all I want
for Christmas!!!!!….
I really enjoyed ‘Home For The Holidays”….
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!!!

Christmas or not, your kitchen is amazingly beautiful.
Hot Tamale better stick with the banana and stay away from the martinis! Have a great weekend!
PS- I love that you put everygreen in the soda bottles.
Your kitchen is incredible! So fun and full of light. Interesting things to look at. I’m hooked on the creamers! I’ve got a few around here as well…love them! Gotta be getting close to martini time! Enjoy!
Okay, seriously, I want to come to your house, pour myself a glass of “whatever,” (grab one of your daughter’s cookies), sit back and watch as you decide to create a bunt pan/pomegranate tree topper … make a reindeer garland (have those cuties, too … love Dollar Tree) annnnnnd festoon a fun white tree with your fabulous shiny brights!
Your kitchen is so amazing and I want a big white tree so badly!
I have missed your kitchen! I love it all decked out in Christmas finery. Love the Elf, but don’t let hime squeeze that banana too hard, things could get messy around there.
Oh..I’m loving your kitchen! I almost squealed over the Pepsi bottles in the window(I’m and old bottle lover). Every bit of it looks fantastic.
Merry Christmas!

Kelly…I love every little inch of your Christmas kitchen! Each detail is perfect and so you…I need a white tree…like now. 😉 I will be shopping for one when all the stuff is on clearance after the holiday. Wish me luck!
Oh my…I wish I was hanging on that tree like the elf holding on to that banana so I could just gaze at everything all day long. One of these yrs. I will try the white tree idea. Maybe next, remind me! I also just put the extra tree branches at my sink window so I could smell the pine. I love everything, Kelly…going to share on FB now.
I love your home, Kelly! Especially that white tree with all the beautiful ornaments. It’s so cheerful!
xoxo
