Sara of Twelve on Main lives in a small town with her hubby and four kids.
She says, “My mail goal is to inspire and encourage others to DIY. There is so much potential in all of us, and I hope to show that it is possible for all to do simple and complex projects in their homes. If I can give one person a small dose of inspiration to try something new, my job is done.”
This home is the latest in my Eclectic Home Tour series – make sure to check them out when you finish the tour.
I love the vintage metal glider turned porch swing.
A small church pew fits perfectly in the foyer.
Sara took old, dark stained doors and sanded them to reveal their original beauty then she turned them into the coolest rolling barn doors complete with chalkboard wall in the mudroom.
Now this is a dream laundry room! I love that Sara salvaged old wood to create a one of a kind counter.
I love this farmhouse sink in the laundry room – perfect for watering plants or bathing small pets.
An old electrical spool makes a rustic coffee table.
Anther fun DIY is this rustic woods tv frame.
I love the giant chalkboard in the dining room.
Layered rugs, comfy sectional sofa and rustic wood logs turned coffee table come together to create a cozy family room.
One of the many DIY’s in the home includes this industrial shelving.
From the shiplap walls to the commercial faucets to the rustic wood vanity paired with modern sinks, this is a dream bathroom.
They made this picnic table and it’s perfect on the porch …
or on the lawn overlooking this stunning view.
