10 Best Light Fixtures Under $100

April 1, 2013  Decorating | Uncategorized

Lighting is king, queen, prince, princess and the downstairs help.

It’s key to making any house shine – so go ahead and light up your life with some of my favorites that won’t break the bank.

Eclectically Vintage lighting

I adore the Ikea PS Maskros.  Mix in this modern piece with vintage finds and you’ll have a truly unique space.

Saw this baby at Target today – the Threshold Caged Pendant Lamp.  It’s petite and would be perfect in a grouping of three over an island.

I love schoolhouse lights – don’t forget Walmart for fabulous lighting like this World Imports Luray Schoolhouse Light.

Like a fish, I’m attracted to all things shiny so I love the bling of West Elm’s Industrial Mercury Pendant.

Wish I would have known about this Faceted Capiz Pendant from Pottery Barn Teen when I was renovating my house.

We have the Ikea Maskros and my neighbour has one, too. We have it in the playroom, my neighbour has it in her living room. They are beautiful! It goes everywhere – well, maybe not the bathroom. 😉

So lovely – all of them! I love great lighting too. We can finally get rid of the ceiling fan in our living room since we now have a furnace and don’t need the fan to circulate heat. I cannot decide exactly what I want there though!!

My dining room needs a new light. Something along the lines of the olive bucket, but I need more bulbs, a multi bucket light? Whip me one up please.

I made my son’s girlfriend a fixture out of a colored metal colander from Old Time Pottery. Cost me $6.99 for the colander and got the guts from Lowes. Spent a total of about $15. The holes from the colander put a pretty pattern when lit.

Amazing fixtures Kelly! Just in love with the olive bucket one.My husband found a minnow bucket at a yard sale for like $5.00. He turned the liner into a lamp for his office. It really looks great lit up. I’m so tempted to make one of the enamel colander ones for the kitchen. So cute!

I could find a place for all of them but I’m amazed that the olive bucket is less than $100. Those are hard to find (I know PB is now selling them as a “found” item) and I’ve never seen them priced under $100 as is, let alone a light. Love it!

Where do you have the Schoolhouse Electric Alabax lights in your home? I can’t decide if I want to order the medium or large lights. I’m looking for some pictures to help me decide! Thanks!
