Changes – New Name, New Look!
Cha-cha-cha-changes!
September 21, 2011 – a day that will live in infamy – the day I unveiled Eclectically Vintage to the world (or at least to my mom and hubby who were my only readers).
My first blog post – let’s just say it was a work in progress. If I lived in the south, I’d say, “bless it’s heart.”
Having no idea what I was doing wasn’t going to stop me.
Fast forward five years …
Eclectically Vintage will now be Kelly Elko (that’s my name, don’t wear it out).
Same me but better and I’ll soon be unveiling a brand new look because every blog needs a facelift once in awhile.
My new logo could not be more perfect because it includes silhouettes of my twin girls when they were five years old (they’re 16 now).
My new tagline …
Love Where You Live
As I grow and my tastes evolve, one thing remains the same and that is my desire to create a home that I love and I want to inspire and encourage everyone who stops by this blog to do the same.
So I want to thank all of you who have been with me – whether for the past five years or if you just started following along.
Stick around because the best is yet to come!
super excited for you and your new look on the blog!
Me too Laura – thanks so much for all your support over the years!

Thanks so much Karen! Here’s to staying eclectic!
Cool! I love silhouettes. When I was growing up they did them at my elementary school and parents ordered them. I never got to get them for all my kids. I had my son done in S.C. where he drew on a copper sheet. They were easier to get done when I was a kid. I have a giant one from my youngest’s preschool that they made using a projector and laminated for all the kids. Pat S
I think every school needs to start doing that again!
Love your new look and yes…you are so right…Love Where You Live…we all need to remember that!! Love that you have the sweet silhouettes of your girls…and looking forward to more inspiration from you as always!
