Eclectic Home Tour – Birdie Farm
I discovered Lucy Rose of Birdie Farm on Instagram and fell in love with her newly built Colorado farmhouse.
“I love how the open floor plan still feels cozy and homey! My husband and I love everything vintage and antique, and have many family heirlooms that make our house feel like a home.” says Lucy Rose.
When you’re done touring this home, be sure to check out all of my Eclectic Home Tours.
The new house feels like it’s been here for 100 years.
The idea for the kitchen was to make it look like a bunch of found pieces, instead of built ins.
I love the natural wood mixed with painted lower cabinets.
The square wood siding is distressed to look reclaimed.
Reclaimed oak floors warm up the home.
A vintage daybed is the perfect place to take in the mountain views.
Love this idea of hanging mirrors from the ceiling if you’re limited on wall space or don’t want to block the view.
An old galvanized bucket makes the perfect sink and pairs perfectly with plumbing hardware sconces.
How cool are these metal shower walls in the kids bathroom.
I could stare at these pics till the cows come home.

What a cool place, I love all her finds! I could spend hours browsing there! In kove with the vintage wood head board or wall behind her bed…Speaking of finds this is a great home tour find.

These home yours are one of my favorite parts of Saturdays. Well, that and not working?. Thanks for posting these house tours!
Yes I love the whole not working thing too Tara!
I’m not in love with corrugated metal but love the shower in the kids bathroom. Not finding that kind with flat between the raised sections. Is there a real name for that?
I love everything you’ve done here, it’s simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
This by far, which is saying quite alot, is the most charming, welcoming, beautiful home I have ever seen on Pinterest. Ever! The style of the home owners just speaks to me. I can imagine the love that went into picking out every item and it’s placement. This is a home that not only welcomes a guest, it has a story to tell in everything you see. Just an inspiration for me.
