Eclectic Home Tour – Simple Nature Decor
Maria of Simple Nature Decor and her husband just recently moved into their newly built South Carolina dream home which they dubbed “the nature house.”
When you’re done touring this southern charmer, come back to browse through all of my Eclectic Home Tours.
Now let’s peek inside the nature house …
Stained concrete floors and wood countertops add warmth to this kitchen.
Vertical planked walls and rustic wood shelves add character.
A tabby shell fireplace (a mixture of shells and concrete) wall is a stunning focal point.
Reclaimed barn wood on the bedroom ceiling.
It’s all in the details like these rustic sliding barn doors.

I love your tours, on days I feel like being lazy, I spend time right here doing tours. They give you ideas and it is very relaxing.
Thank you Marlene! It is the perfect lazy day activity isn’t it!
Why are the majority of your kitchen tours WHITE? Is no one painting actual colors anymore? Its getting so boring. We repainted our kitchen in 3 tones of grey with black countertops and a black sink. Its also a very small kitchen but we LOVE the change and the fun of finding pops of color to go with the grey.
Maybe you could find some people who paint things with color other than white.
Your kitchen sounds lovely Sharon – maybe I could share it with my readers. Have a great weekend
What a beautiful home! I love it all, especially the shelves by the stairs and chandelier in the kitchen!
I believe Sharon that Kelly shows us home tours that reflect her taste as this is her blog. If you don’t like the content of her blog, perhaps you don’t belong here. I’m just saying.
Hi Michelle – thanks so much! I search far and wide for the best homes to share with you. Hopefully someone can find something that inspires them in each tour. Glad you enjoy them!
What a beautiful home, thank you for sharing it!
Thanks so much in sharing my home Kelly, it was a great honor! I love white because I do add color to it any time, and the other reason why I choose white is because its easy to decorate and resell value.
Thanks
Maria
