My Five Fall Must Haves

Love this glass tea pot with built in tea infuser kellyelko.com

My daughter just said that she loves this time of year.

Like mother like daughter because I couldn’t agree more.

I’ve packed away the flip flops and broke out my plaid shirts and I’m ready to bake an apple pie.

Here is what I can’t live without this fall …

Glass Tea Pot – My friend turned me on to this glass tea pot. It’s easy to keep clean because you can actually see inside (use a bottle brush to clean it) and I love that it comes with a strainer for loose tea leaves or I can just boil water and add my own tea bag to my mug. I’ve also been starting my day off with hot lemon water and using this pretty pot every morning makes me happy. Plus it looks cute sitting on my stove! I really like this lower priced glass tea pot too.

Spanx Leggings – One word – miraculous! Another friend told me once I wore these, I would never go back to regular leggings. They are insanely comfortable, the high waist does not roll down and it sucks and tucks me in all the right places! Get 10% off by signing up on their site. I wore these to the Better Homes and Gardens Style Maker event and got tons of compliments.

Apple Cider Soap – Smells like fall! I love Mrs. Meyers soaps and cleaning products and this scent is amazing.

Choker – I absolutely LOVE this long statement necklace. Just wrap it around your neck to update any outfit. I got the blue but love all the colors.

Hunter Boots – I live in these boots. Perfect for rainy days and muddy lawns and they last forever (I’ve had the same pair for over 8 years).

Don’t miss more of my favorites here.

  1. i need some of those leggings! also, i cringed when i saw that chokers were making a comeback as it reminds me of high school so much…. but that one is not bad. and that’s saying a lot for me.

  2. Nice! I’ll need to try the leggings, for sure and the soap! I can’t live without a cozy throw to wrap up in and this year it’s a pretty plaid one. Plus a nice hot cup of cider and Fall-scented candles (Pier 1 has some great choices)! Happy Fall, to you!

  3. curious about glass tea pot,
do you microwave the water, then pour it in?
do you put the glass straight on the stove burner?

  4. I love leggings, boots, and my flannel shirts i wear around the house. I love apple anything, and hot chocolate before i go to bed. Thanks for this post and have a snuggly day!

  5. When I need to NOT be thinking about work, kids, animals I go to your site to relax! Thank you so much for all of your good ideas and having a variety of options in price for items. I just love EVERYTHING you do.
Thank you for making me smile!

  6. I am getting those Spanx, I didn’t know those existed! I love those rain boots too. My teenage daughter has a pair, but not me. Grandparents are wonderful for things like that…..

Love that choker, but then I could happily spend the rest of my life inside an Anthropolgy store, and they just closed the old store and reopened a Flag Ship store right in my neck of the woods…..2 stories of Anthro bliss.

I can’t live without TJ’s Spiced Apple Cider, Pumpkin Cake and Halloween. Around here my flip flops are still on, but we can pretend it’s chilly and hold the spirit of Fall in our Mugs of lukewarm herb tea.

    1. You don’t need the Spanx Karen! Although with the no roll waist, they would come in handy as you’re hanging out of a dumpster! you are so lucky to have a huge Anthro near you – I have one five minutes from my house! I’m a plain apple cider girl and I do love Halloween and raiding my kids candy! Hope all is well – and your family is doing well
