I’m teaming up with my creative 10 Minute Decorating friends again to bring you simple fall ideas – make sure to see them all at the end of this post.
Have a black thumb?
No worries – use faux succulents to make a quick and easy centerpiece and be the envy of your friends, neighbors, mother-in-law, pizza delivery guy (you get the idea).
Grab your favorite unique container like my mid century style horse.
Layer in succulents and a mini pumpkin.
Add a tray underneath to give it more oomph and scatter a few more pumpkins around and it’s the perfect faux succulent centerpiece.
I love it on my kitchen counter …
but it also looks great on my ottoman and I think it would make the perfect hostess gift.
Black thumbs rejoice in faux succulents!

Those succulents are a dead ringer for the real thing ( but NOT dead, which is so great ). I don’t believe you have a “black thumb” – but even if you do, you have the Midas Touch when it comes to decorating! Well done my friend!
What a fun vignette. I think succulents are fabulous plants, but after awhile mine get funky! Great idea to use faux! And the planter is the best!!!! It’s so you, Kelly! xo

You can never go wrong with succulents! Your new site looks great!
SO beautiful! LOVE the rich colours!
Love your Johnathan Adler-esque horse container Kelly!! Love the look of the succulents with it – so stylish! Happy Fall friend! Pinned 🙂
Seeing all the fall colors together makes my heart go pitter-patter…especially against your white marble counters.
I really love the whole idea, and the horse is wonderful! I have some faux succulents as well and they are very realistic and I have been “fooling” people and enjoying them as well.
Nobody needs to know they are faux … and if they say anything, we can kick them out!
Super cute! Really like your little nibble bowl full of candy corn.
Unfortunately, I’m eating all the candy corn Hope!
