Manifesting a Fun Trend – Tibetian Tiger Rugs

Manifestation: the act of making something happen by imagining it and consciously thinking that it will happen. I was researching stair runners and came across the coolest tiger stair runners. The very next day, I went to HomeGoods and lo and behold, what did I find? You guessed it, Tibetian tiger rugs! I literally manifested them so of course I had to bring one home so I don’t anger the universe!

How dramatic is this tiger stair runner! I love the rich browns and golds against the black staircase.

While it’s fabulous, this stair runner is a also a real commitment and as someone who likes to change things up pretty often, I needed a commitment-free alternative.

My style is eclectic. I love vintage decor and unique finds. I think they really make a home one-of-a-kind. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love to embrace the occasional trend.

Enter my new Tibetian tiger rug! It’s fun, inexpensive (I found mine at HomeGoods) and easy to change out when I’m over it.

Here are some Tibetian tiger rugs for less than $70 on Amazon.

I moved it around the house, from my bathroom to my kitchen to my mudroom to a hallway but finally settled on the entrance vestibule.

One of my favorite features of my 1913 house (besides the sunroom) is the entrance vestibule. It’s a tiny little space that can be closed off and it’s the perfect place for adding some drama.

Sushi’s best advice is don’t take yourself, or your decorating, too seriously!

I’m aware this rug isn’t for everyone. Some might even say it’s UGLY. Do I let that influence my decorating style? Hell no, and you should never let what anyone thinks stop you from doing what you love!

My quest for the perfect stair runner continues and while this isn’t something I would put in my house, I appreciate the drama of it!

This Diane Von Furstenberg designed rug costs 10’s of thousands of dollars! Not something us mere mortals can have!

If you want the look for less, I spotted these look-alike leopard rugs on Etsy.

So for now, I’m happy to have manifested such a fun piece for my house!

It’s not for everyone but that is the beauty of decorating. Do what you love … no apologies because you are the one who has to live with it!

I’m anxiously await my next manifestation (maybe I should play the lottery)!
