Can You Hear Me? Can You Hear Me Now?
A Dustbunny Life
sums up my philosophy.
I’d rather be hanging with friends, eating a big bowl of popcorn and watching a movie with my kids, having a glass of wine with my hubs …
anything other than worrying about a constant state of house perfection.
I’m here to proclaim
dust bunnies are the new black!
Since KariAnne of Thistlewood Farms also embraces dust bunnies, and laughter, and living life …
we knew we would have a blast doing a Podcast together.
So, grab a cup of coffee or tea (or wine – I’m not judging!)
and join us as we chat, laugh and have a fabulously fun time with different guests.
So click on the little triangle on the left of the black bar below to begin listening.
Disclaimer!
I sound like I am stuck in the bottom of a very deep cave while
Kari sounds like she stole her daughter’s cheerleading megaphone!
I’m talking earplug level loud!
Don’t be frightened and
see if you can hear my well placed wittiness over all that guffawing!
And why not multi-task while listening.
Check your Facebook page, catch up on email, give yourself a mani …
Our first guest is Amy of The Salvage Collection.
Here’s what she looks like all gussied up.
But you’re more likely to find her looking like this!
She’s funny and can restore a piece of old, castoff furniture like nobody’s business.
Plus, you gotta love a gal who names all of her furniture!
Amy hand painted those birch branches!

You girls sound so cute…..and you’ve given me a beautiful new blog to scour! love it and agree..IT’S TIME TO EMBRACE THOSE BUNNIES!
My cheeks hurt.
~Bliss~
you’d better watch out, girl, or satellite radio’s gonna be startin’ the DUST BUNNY station!!
First satellite, then our own show, we’ll be the next Oprahs!
I am truly laughing out loud at your reference to dust bunnies. I am hopping on over from following Amy’s blog… Wish I could listen to your audio right now, but must save that for later! I just had to share that I recently blogged about dust bunnies too… ‘cept, mine are RAGING dust bunnies! I hope you don’t mine me quoting from my blog in February…
“For the first time in weeks we have had a morning of relaxation… In fact my two hockey players are still sleeping at 8 am! I have a fresh cup of coffee cuddled in a blanket, looking at my neglected home… Knowing that the hockey season is winding down and we can pick up the pieces and move on!
I choose not to feel guilty this morning as the dust bunnies rage at me from under the table… I hope you can stare down your dust bunnies without guilt today, life is truly too short to worry about it!”
Cheers to a united stand in support of dust bunnies! Life is way to short! Thanks for sharing!
Dust Bunny lovers unite!! They are the new black you know!
I’m speechless! And you sound so soft and quiet like. And I know for a fact that you are neither soft nor quiet!
Such a fun idea. Looking forward to the next broadcast …

P.S. – Thanks to you, I finally remembered to set the DVR to record Modern Family…now that the season’s finally almost over. :-p That’s just how I roll, I guess. Forgetfulness is the new black at my house! 😉
Am I the last girl on the planet left who hasn’t watched Modern Family?
Love it – forgetfulness is the new black! I am definitely in fashion then!
This is awesome!!!
Hello, hello, hello!!! Can you hear me?!?! What a fun project. Can’t wait to hear more of your lovely voices and witty questions and guffawing all around. 🙂
So funny! I was listening while making lunch and it was even keeping the baby entertained, then I was a bit too engrossed and I somehow set off the smoke detector while grilling mushrooms. Honestly, that’s how much fun I was having.

Can’t listen now, the men in the house have the news on, but I love the theme. Dust bunnies (elephants in my house) can’t be defeated, so we may as well admit they’re here forever!!!
Men – they really cramp our style! I see a re-name in our podcast future – A Dust Elephant Life!!
