A Tisket, a Tasket, a Vintage Picnic Basket
Stop by tonight for drinks.
Oh no, what have I done?
Dust bunnies are running rampant.
The only things in the fridge are a couple of mouldy avocados and a jumbo size bottle of Heinz 57.
What’s a girl to do?
Keep a basket stocked with staples
so you can be the hostess with the mostess
and the toast of the town.
And remember these words of wisdom:
Cheers!
such a great idea, kelly–and i love the ecard sentiment:)
Perfect! Love the description of your fridge. Ain’t that the truth about so many of us. Not only do you have the back up picnic basket good to go, it’s stinking adorable! Love it. Thanks for your wonderful comment on my map project and for pinning it! Woohoo! It’s much appreciated! Always love stopping by your place. It’s so inspiring!

Cute!
That’s enough pistachios for me, sorry if I eat them all. You can have the olives and moldy avocado.

I saw a vintage picnic basket the other day and didn’t buy it. Next time!
I own a vintage picnic basket just like the one you have. However, mine isn’t stocked with all those fabulous items. I’ll have to work on that. Thanks for sharing. Joyous Wishes, Linda
Where’s the vintage basket filled with wine and vodka and other drinky mixers …?
And I think I need to borrow that ecard sentiment to explain away my dust rhinos …
🙂

I long to be the person that doesn’t feel the need to clean up before company comes over. Unfortunately, I’m normally the one cleaning right up until they get here. In fact I plan on doing that this weekend since my parents and in-laws are coming to town. Someday, maybe I’ll learn to relax a little more.
So Clever!!! Hey, where’s the wine??? 😉

I am on my way! You may need to pack another picnic basket though, I don’t know if I would want to share all of that fabulousness!

Such a GREAT idea — my problem would be the following: I might not remember where I PUT the basket and I might get hungry, be too lazy to go to the store and think, “OH! I have that basket of snacks!” Of course, if I can’t find it, problem two is solved.
What a great idea! I’ve got a basket almost exactly like that that I got from my mom. I think I’ll be stocking it up!
That is so awesome! Picnics are the best! 🙂
What a great idea! I love the vintage picnic basket and the cute cutlery. Have fun! Pamela
What a fun post, and a great reminder! Love the basket, too 🙂
I’ll take the kalamata olives please & thank you 🙂 They never last very long in my house!!
Such a great idea. Picking up these items next time I hit Trader Joes. Do you have those where you live? If you visit, you must come shopping with me there.
PS How did you know what was in my refrigerator!
Love the basket Kelly and I love all the goodies inside! I love Trader Joes too. Just wish it were closer. We have Aldi’s instead!
Kelly that basket has the perfect patina. It’s so warm. I love it!!! Another GREAT score. Do you leave anything for anyone else? You better start making sure you aren’t being followed. LOL
What? No Peanut M & M’s ??? I AM shocked!
Love this idea.
So cute.
