It was a truly fabulous day that I’ll never forget.

But if I had it to to over again …

I’d steal lots of ideas from Dana of Circa Dee.

This stunning bride created tons of amazing vintage wedding ideas you could use for any party.

The birch log cake takes center stage on an old wine barrel cake stand that she borrowed from a vineyard – on the condition that she promised to return it when she was done (don’t worry, she did)!

The theme was “On Our Way to Cape May” (Cape May is a beautiful beach town in NJ).

Any party is about the details and Dana took care of every last one.

She made this DIY trailhead sign from old fence pickets.  Guests traveled from all over as you can see.

Now that the wedding planning is over, Dana can get back to selling her fabulous vintage finds

I’ve got at least 10 years (hopefully longer!) until I can plan a wedding for one of my girls …

I’ll store these ideas away in the back of my mind for when that day arrives – thanks Dana!

  1. I love everything about this wedding decor. Especially the map for guests to mark their hometown. We had so many people traveling from New York and the East Coast, that would have been such a fun idea. Storing away for one of my kids.

  2. What a beautiful, beautiful wedding. And the bride and groom were pretty beautiful, too!;>) I love all the little details of the day. Perfect! xo Diana

  3. I can see why you were smitten with this wedding Kelly – it has a warm and welcoming vibe all the way through! I can see you becoming an event coordinator on your girls wedding day!

  4. Kelly, I’m sure your wedding was fabulous! We argued 30 years ago over money so we did a quick cheesy Las Vegas wedding with 11 of our friends and family. I almost came home in tears because it wasn’t what I dreamed of. It’s easy to reflect back on things and think of what we could have done. Her wedding is very cute with lots of great ideas. Mr. Delightful and I may redo our vows in a simple wedding by the sea.

  5. It bothers me that the table was not set correctly with the glasses on the wrong side of the placement. The glasses should have been on the right side. Otherwise lots of great ideas!

  6. Love, love, love the wedding! Oh, and for that person who commented on something being in the wrong position on the table, *thbpt* raspberries…I had an aunt that was a fussbudget about all the details, a real Miss Manners. Guess what? At MY wedding reception she started cutting the wedding cake through the top layer down all the way to the bottom (instead of reserving the top layer like the custom is)! My sister grabbed her hand and stopped her. Guess she didn’t know it all after all.

  7. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s equally educative
and amusing, and without a doubt, you have hit
the nail on the head. The problem is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I came across this in my search for something relating to
    this.

  8. It not only provides strength and improve the blood pressure by regulating
the blood circulation, but also provides endurance and help with the overall immune system of the body.
I can wrap my head around the science of it, but I am
still unsure, despite all the digging up of stellar feedback, that the oral drops are as
effective, or make any difference at all; perhaps it’s all in our minds.
The most common side effects include: headache, nausea, tender-skin, and upset stomach.
