Eclectic Home Tour – Making a Vibrant Home
She had me at color …
and Lindsay from Makely School for Girls really knows how to liven up her home with color, pattern and fun!
Just looking at these pictures makes me smile – try not to as you scroll through.
This is my kind of eclectic.
I would probably face my desk towards that amazing focal wall instead of the window so I could stare at it all day long.
Lindsay decided to add hairpin legs to this little chest and turned it into a very cool table.
She definitely thinks outside the pot – love this eclectic mix of planters.
Mother of the year award goest to Lindsay for decorating her daughter’s room in such a hip way.
And to think I always bypassed that shelf full of naked Barbies at the thrift shop.
No thrift shop cast off is safe from Lindsay’s arsenal of spray paint cans.
The master bedroom is just as bold.
How cool are the layered frames.
This is the perfect spot for fun and games.
Yes, Lindsay made the fun marquee sign.
Quick – book me on the next flight to Mardi Gras so I can collect enough beads to make me one of these.
Oh yeah, forget to mention Lindsay loves the King so much that she whipped up this little piece of Elvis artwork.
There you have it ladies and germs.
A gal who isn’t afraid to take decorating risks and do what makes her happy.
Visit the very bold and colorful Makely School for Girls to see more of what Lindsay has up her sleeve.

I like the yellow dresser in the black bedroom, and just noticed that the drawer pulls are non-matching. How interesting.

Wow, you can tell she doesn’t second guess herself….I could move right in and be so comfortable!
It speaks whom she is and that is always great!!!! 🙂

Wow- That is quite a room. She went all out and it shows. Perfect!!! xo Diana
Wow is right, so much to see and remember, had to pin. Great house. Love the little different things she did to not be what anybody would expect. My favorite was the frames on wall, the black and gold are rich looking with rest of room. Great tour, thanks for sharing. Happy Spring days
Beautiful. So absolutely gorgeous! So many really really cool touches!
So many fantastic decorating ideas – love how those frames are displayed! And that ‘fun’ sign, just perfect for a playroom. Thanks for sharing all this wonderful creativity!
I am the most late to the party person ever. But I have been saving this post in my inbox for when I finally got a chance to enjoy it!! Can Lindsay come over and hang out at my house? Maybe her uber cool decorating style will rub off on me and I will finally get my act together and finish a DIY project here or there around here.
