Eclectic Home Tour – Mill Valley House

This single story Mill Valley House in California was renovated to make it family friendly.
Richardson says, “We worked very closely with them to …Â divide the house into two bedroom zones, a get-together zone (warmer, brighter colors) and a quiet/ contemplative (deeper, richer colors) zone.

A few large scale pieces create a dramatic entry.

An open kitchen flows into a family room that opens onto the patio.

Mismatched chairs and oversized flag art keep the vibe casual.

I love the high gloss painted walls and bookcase and layered rugs.

A built in bed and desk maximize space in this kids room. A chalkboard wall adds personality.

A small powder room is the perfect place to add drama.

There is no wasted space in this combination mudroom/laundry room.

I loved this home. This is just my size. The wall paper in the bathroom was different and I like that. I wish you guys would come to my home and give it a tweak.
Any way to find out the supplier or a source for the awesome wallpaper in the bathroom?
I love these tours and all the great ideas i get from them. Its a nice rainy day to spend looking at your tours, thanks Kelly.
Hope the sun is shining today Marlene!
I love your powder room sink! Where did you find it?
