Eclectic Home Tour – Rafterhouse
Rafterhouse is a husband and wife team who transform Arizona homes with beautiful attention to detail and farmhouse touches.
“We have a passion for post-war era ranch homes and hate seeing them lose their charm. We strive to build, enhance, and upgrade these homes while staying true to their historical roots and the character and integrity of the neighborhood’s they reside in.”

Love the idea of finding old doors with character when renovating a house.

I love classic bentwood chairs and a fun color adds a modern touch.
Every dining room needs a vintage luggage cart!
I love the way the lockers are built into the wall of this mudroom.
An old door complete with lock turns into an interesting coffee table.
A chunky old beam is the perfect mantel on this brick fireplace wall.
Rolling barn door complete with chippy paint. You can find similar rolling door hardware here.
An old dresser is repurposed into a bathroom vanity – I love the card catalog like drawer pulls.
The laundry room gets fun vintage touches with hex tile, industrial cage light, shiplap and a “laundry” glass door.
The outdoor areas are as fun as the inside of the house.
A rustic cart makes the perfect outdoor table. Here’s a new version of the table here to get a similar look.

Love this! Where did you get the lockers in the mudroom? And this might be a silly question, but do the locks work? I would think in a home, you would want to somehow disable them…
Thanks!
