Exceptionally Eclectic – Home on the Bay
Ever since I wrote my 5th grade report on Maine, with my crayon drawing of a lighthouse on the cover, I’ve wanted to visit.
I may just have to get a cottage tour from Mary of At Home on the Bay.
After all, anyone who loves an eclectic plate wall …
and paint by number gallery wall is a kindred spirit.
Did I mention she lives in beautiful Maine (can you tell I want to go there), near the water with views like this!
Her home is charming with details that make all the difference.
Love the frame within a frame and the mix of patterns.
A few bold accessories and ikat drapes in a soothing white bedroom.
With a guest bedroom that has my name written all over it.
I love the painted blue wide plank floors.
Another guest room with a sign that looks like it was picked up a a local antique store …
but this fabulous rustic sign was actually created by Mary …
and so was this French linen look headboard!
The mudroom gets in on the fun.
Instead of buying an expensive painted light, Mary did what any smart DIYer would do, she painted her own schoolhouse light for a custom look.
One of my favorite projects is this button lampshade – I think I need one of my own.
Farewell for now Mary, but you never know when I will make that trip up to Maine. I think I may even still have that old book report!
So many great ideas and beautiful spaces here. Thanks for sharing Kelly.

Great house tour, Kelly! I love Mary’s home.
She put stuff together so nice. I pinned that button shade a while ago, but my money is on you to get it done first.
