This summer was so hot we needed to add a fan (in addition to our ceiling fan) to our bedroom. After looking around we determined the “old style” fans (like you scored) really moved much more air than the digital versions … new is not always better. We got a retro style new fan but yours is so cool (hehe, fan humor). Love the light blue blades, teal logo, and white combo. Have a great weekend.

I can hear Stevie Wonder singing now. I never find any kind of fan at the thrift store, except the cheap paper ones you can buy in China town. I really love that blue. That is a score!

That is the fan I had growing up and my parents STILL have it and USE it. We are always amazed that five kids, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren later, all fingers are still attached!

WOW!! Nice! I found one too but no paint! I have a question, where can you find the old type wiring but up to date safety? I would like it to stay as is but up to date on the wiring!!:) Thanks ahead of time if ya can give me some ideas…. Happy Hunting!!
Just found your blog and saw your fan. I have a very similar one in blue made by Electrohome which I found at a barn sale just last month. Your fan is terrific!!
