I’m Heading to the Country Living Fair!

I’m packing up my car with my flea market essentials and heading out early this morning for my two hour drive to the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.

Country Living Fair Rhinebeck NY 2013

I’m bursting at the seams to …

  • Meet Sarah Gray Miller – the editor-in-chief of Country Living magazine
  • Get a behind the scenes tour from Cari Cucksey of HGTV’s Cash & Cari
  • Shop til I drop for vintage goodness
  • Eat fair food
  • Meet up with my blogging BFF – Denise from The Painted Home

My car may be packed to the gills like this and I’ll have to get creative in hiding my loot from my hubby!

A day at the flea market - and all the essentials!

  1. Have a great time. We drove in from Ontario Thursday and went yesterday. We were soaked to the bone and didn’t stay as long as I would have liked but found some great goodies. I found the Ohio fair had more vintage and antiquey finds than this one.

  2. I am so jealous that you live close enough to drive there. What fun! Take lots of pictures for those of us that are left behind! Hope you have a wonderful time. xo Diana

  3. I am so envious! I cannot wait to hear all about it. Eat something deep fried and yummy for me. Have fun!

  4. I had waited for this fair for months. Was so excited about the location, since it was doable. All I can say is that it
was a total disappointment. Of course, the rain didn’t help, but it was not the problem. Overall, the vendors should
have been more closely monitored. There was just a lot junk which seemed to have been collected/made for this event. My daughter and I bought NOTHING! In addition, it was falsely advertised and over rated in the magazine.
First, and last time for me!!!

  5. On my bucket list! I hope you have a great time and find lots of my favs… melamine, vintage typewriters, trailers (bolers, airstreams), anything with vintage fabric, chairs (I seem to have an addiction to those). Looking forward to hearing about your adventures!
