Hop to It Spring Table
Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down my table! Faux branches, speckled eggs and a few colorful bunnies hop across my spring bunny centerpiece. So hop on over to take a peek.
My girls will be home from college for a long Easter weekend and I find myself striving even more to make every holiday special. Special doesn’t have to mean time consuming because who has time for that so I love using what I already have and adding in a few new finds (like these adorable wood bunny napkin rings) for a fun surprise.

I scattered a few faux stems that remind me of fuzzy lambs ears leaves on the table then added in some colorful bunnies, speckled eggs in new jadeite inspired bowls and a few succulents.
I had a faux moss bunny bank when I was a kid so I love the retro looking rabbit.
I love using white dinner plates as a backdrop to every table setting. Then you can have fun with colorful napkins, glasses, and creative centerpieces. Don’t forget to consider using outdoor items like the two different sets of plastic cutlery I mixed together.
When I spot pretty cloth napkins and napkin rings that I know will work for different occasions, I like to snatch them up and add them to my stash. Same thing with drinking glasses – I have a weakness for them whether they are new or vintage.
Bunnies add such a whimsical touch to the table.
I’ve seen similar Danish modern bar carts for sale for $1,800 so was thrilled to score mine for $5 at a thrift shop years ago. My mother in law had these vintage pink spaghetti string glasses in her cabinet and I don’t think they had ever been used! I love the raised texture of them.
P.S. stay tuned because next week I’ll bring you my full spring home tour.
I am counting down the days until my peonies bloom and plan to plant a few more bushes in different colors soon. I’d love to add fuschia and white to my pale pink peonies.
