The Roxbury – a Catskills Destination (and an announcement)!
Hop over to the FOLK blog today where I’m sharing my adventure at The Roxbury – an over the top, kitschy, crazy, themed room motel in the Catskills of upstate NY.
We stayed in the Amadeus Bride suite …
but my girls decided we should stay in the Coconut Cream Pie room next time.
28 themed rooms and one amazing cottage with a bedroom where you can fall asleep under a canopy of … (you’ll never believe it)!
Find out more about this very cool getaway.

Congrats on your new “job” as contributor. That is awesome. I can’t wait to read the newest issue.
Amadeus bridal suite huh? Hmmmm…. this conjures several visuals for me, none of which are as interesting as a ceiling made of meringue.
Bliss
Congrats to you! With that group of contributors – I can’t wait t get the first issue! Thanks for sharing the The Roxbury! It looks fantastic!
Congrats Kelly! That is awesome! That hotel is amazing, I bet your girls had a blast!

Debbie 🙂
Congratulations on the contributorship 🙂
That hotel…you are creating great memories!!! Off to FOLK.
Wow! That place is really something! I love upstate New York. My grandparents used to own a 200 year old farm when I was a child. It was in the foothills of the Catskils in Delaware county near Oneonta. I visited their a couple of years ago and the owners gave me a tour. I bet your girls loved staying at this hotel! What a cool adventure!
I want to stay in the Coconut Cream room. How fun! Huge congrats on your latest writing gig! Yay for Jill too, she is so talented.
I’ve never even HEARD of that hotel! I definitely want to stay under a pillow of coconut cream. 🙂
Congratulations on your new writing gig — how fun! Sounds like 2013 is off to a fabulous start (and belated Happy New Year, too!).
Oh my gosh — just clicked through and I TOTALLY know that hotel!! (My mom has a place in Windham NY). I had *no idea* that someone glammed it up, lol. How fun!
