Fall Pumpkin Patch Mantel
Raise your pumpkin latte in the air if you love fall! My favorite season has arrived and the first thing I always do for any season, is decorate my mantel. This year, I broke out my huge chalkboard and a bunch of neutral pumpkins and kept things simple with this fall chalkboard pumpkin mantel.
My friend Krista gathered some friends to share our Seasonal Simplicity Fall Mantels and I’m kicking things off with my mantel. I’m linking to everyone at the end of this post so stay tuned.
If you remember last year’s fall mantel, I used the same chalkboard but with much simpler chalk art. I loved that chalk art so much, I turned it into a free printable that you can get HERE.
My friend’s very talented daughter (the same one who created my dining room wall mural which you can see HERE), worked her magic on my chalkboard once again.
Keeping things simple on the mantel meant I could go pumpkin patch crazy on the hearth. From driftwood pumpkins to bark pumpkins to ceramic pumpkins to hand painted pumpkins to my Thankful Pumpkins which you can see HERE, it’s like a scene straight out of It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
I love covering the big black hole of a fireplace when not in use. In past years, I’ve used a threadbare antique chair HERE, plants HERE, a huge vintage basket filled with dried hydrangeas HERE, and an old window HERE.
I added my favorite little pumpkin head to the patch.

Kelly, this is SO pretty! I love the chalkboard above your gorgeous fireplace! How cute that your little dog model got in the action as well. I haven’t started decorating for fall yet. I usually resist a bit in September until the weather cools down, so I guess it’s about time. I had to laugh at your first line because I just mentioned pumpkin lattes in my last post as well… Have a great week!

LOL – pumpkin lattes on the mind (although I don’t even drink coffee)!
I love pumpkins…they are one of my favorite things in life. You have quite an eclectic collection. 🙂 I adore the chalkboard.
Mine too Diane – give us all the pumpkins!
Looks amazing, as always. I’ve really gotten into neutrals lately. I even bought some gray pumpkins this year. I’m usually traditional so it was a big change for me. Hi Sushi!
Change is good! I usually go with traditional fall colors too – it’s fun to mix things up!
Your chalkboard is oh so cute and what pretty extraordinary pumpkins, that black and white one is really a cutie.
Pumpkin overload!
What a great collection of pumpkins! And your chalkboard is the perfect addition!
Thanks Ashley – you can never have too many pumpkins!
This is the cutest, Kelly! The chalkboard is beautifully done, and I love your fun mix of pumpkins below! Hope you are having a great week, friend!

Thanks Abby and happy fall!
This is so amazing, Kelly! I love that pumpkin chalkboard art!
