My Cozy Christmas Home Tour
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
Welcome to my 6th annual Christmas home tour.
Once again, I’ve teamed up with Jennifer Rizzo for her Holiday House Walk. She has gathered 31 super talented bloggers and we can’t wait to share our homes with you. You can start the tour at her place and hop from blog to blog all week long.
I’m sharing my full source list at the end of this post to make it easy to find anything you love.
Don’t miss the house before mine – Traci of Beneath My Heart who is so sweet and funny! You’ll love her home.

I’ve decked the halls, trimmed a few trees and mixed old and new in my 1903 home.
It’s all about snowflakes in the foyer. The garland gets mini wood snowflakes – a nod to the antique wood stocking stretchers dangling from the stairs.
I love my woven fabric bench and all it needs is a crate of old Shiny Brites.
The family room is where Hallmark movie marathons take place (Holiday in Handcuffs anyone)!
I love this huge plaid wreath from HomeGoods.
These cute little Santa and Mrs. Claus are vintage tobacco tins and we love watching the amaryllis grow in a clear glass jar (see how to grow your own amaryllis here).
A cozy throw adds pattern and warmth on the sofa (and covers the tattered cushion compliments of my dog)!
I printed out Santa and elf hats and stuck them on my girls silhouettes!
Fairy lights glow in vintage glass water jugs.
I LOVE my new dining room chairs from Lamps Plus and will be sharing more info and pics soon. They really transformed the room and are so comfortable. I paired four rope chairs with two upholstered chairs.
In my attempt to keep things more simple, I kept the big tree in it’s box and opted for this small white flocked Christmas tree that my daughter decked out with a flock of cardinals.
My husbands old shovel is on display and this cute little Santa mug pillow is from Jennifer Rizzo.
This is my favorite – my gnome cookie jar in a bed of mushrooms I found at Wayfair.
I love using wrapping paper as a table runner.
I love that each of these four Christmas plates from Wayfair has a different saying.
My dad gave me this old lantern years ago.
I recently added this amazing bubble glass chandelier and it’s so pretty lit up at night.
I’m all about centerpieces this year and I had fun creating a winter wonderland in this galvanized tiered tray.
I love this whimsical wreath from Wayfair that comes complete with it’s own flock of cardinals.
Open shelves get festive with favorite cookie jars.
Vintage Shiny Brites have lots of room to show off on this metal tree, formerly a store display.
An otomi stencil on a big piece of plywood is a festive backdrop for lots of layering.
I love the way the mercury glass shimmers in the firelight but my dog Sushi adds the most festive touch in her winter cap.
I found a pair of these cute mercury glass snowmen at HomeGoods that pair perfectly with the trees.
I have a thing for gnomes and this pillow from Wayfair reminds me of a little Christmas elf.
I love to sit in front of a roaring fire with a glass (or two) of wine and watch my fairy jars flicker. The secret is these remote controlled fairy lights so you can hide the battery packs and we have fun pressing the remote to get eight unique effects.
My vintage club chairs in their original blue velvet fabric get festive with a pair of sequined pillows.
Our tree shows off family ornaments and I always give my girls a new one every year to add to their collections.
My husbands old pedal car is the perfect place to hold gifts.
My sunroom gets another old pedal car that my girlfriend gave me when she moved.
How cute it my little Rudolph puppy pillow – I made it using a pic of my dog Sushi.
You will find Sushi patiently waiting by the fireplace for Santa to bring her a tiara (P.S. she got her hat at HomeGoods)!
I’ll be back soon to share even more of my house decked out for Christmas.
Don’t miss my Christmas Porch Tour here.
See more of my Home Tours – every day and seasonal here.
Now it’s time to hop into Santa’s sleigh and head over to Jen at City Farmhouse.

Don’t miss my past Christmas tours …
oh my gosh there is SOOOO much to love! love the gnome centerpiece so much, and the mantle and anything sushi related. my favorite part is the white flocked tree with the cardinals- it’s stunning! beautiful, kelly!
Thanks Cassie – you are always my biggest cheerleader and I thank you so much! My beautiful daughter decorated that tree and she is thrilled with all the love it’s getting!
You played it Kelly! Holy moly! You always have the perfect mix of vintage and modern. Everything is so pretty! I need that dishtowel on your amazing stove. And that photo of Sushi melts my heart.
Thank you Julia! We all need that wine lovers dishtowel in our lives!
Eye candy! Just beautiful and I love all the vintage treasures. Is the couch in your tv room that looks to be camel colored from the online site Article, or is it Ethan Allen. I really like it. And do you know where I might get red cardinals of my own, not at hed to a wreath. Thanks for sharing. Your home is just lovely and inspirational since it is so accessible.
Hi Jeanne – the sofa is from Ethan Allen. I’ve had it for over a dozen years and it’s starting to show it’s age (in part to my dog)!! The cardinals were from Home Depot years ago and aren’t available anymore but you can find similar affiliate ornaments here: http://bit.ly/2gCgYFe
Your eclectic mix of vintage touches is everything. It certainly feels like a festive Christmas at your home. Loving it, Kelly!
Thanks Michael – wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Wow, Kelly, there is so much to love it’s hard to pick a favorite!! You have an amazing collection of Shiny Brites! And those stocking stretchers are the coolest. So, so festive!!
Thanks so much Anita! Coming from the queen of color, that is such a compliment! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Oh my goodness, your home is absolutely FANTASTIC. I had to go back and look at it a second time, as I did not want to miss anything. I have always wanted a fireplace, especially at Christmas, and you know how to decorate a fireplace. It is fabulous!!! Thank you for sharing you Beautiful home…..and so many wonderful ideas and of course, Sushi…..
Sushi is the star of the show! Thank you Candy and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Love all the details…..you are a master at this!
Thanks Taylor! I am going to show my husband this – I am the master!!!!
I always look forward to reading your post. I love your style and decorating ideas! But, I really enjoy seeing how you use Sushi in your shots. I have two Boston Terriers myself. I love the breed.
I am interested in the kissing Boston’s in your kitchen shot. Can you tell me where they were purchased?
Thank you Cheryl! I love Sushi – I think she needs a buddy! They are Boston Terrier salt and pepper shakers with magnets on the mouths! They are no longer available but here is a similar affiliate set: http://bit.ly/2gBTK1Z
I love everything! Love that you have used your vintage goodies with everything else…makes my heart go pitter pat! Happy Holidays! karen…
Thank you Karen and wishing you a happy and healthy Christmas!
Another fabulous Christmas tour full of your amazing collections … you always think outside of the box … such a cool, inviting and beautiful holiday home!
Thanks Becca – here’s to thinking outside the Christmas present box!
Very pretty – I love all of the small touches and the simple yet festive red/white theme.
I have yet to decorate my house. I have put out a large star with lights made of tobacco drying sticks and a vintage plastic light-up yard santa (drug it down from my father-in-law’s attic – it’s been in the family for a LONG time and had about 2 inches of dust and insulation on him!). I have about 12 Christmas trees, but will probably only put up one or two. It’s just so much work. I used to look forward to putting them all out, but it’s hard to get in the mood when we are still wearing shorts here in Texas. 🙂 One of my trees is all red cardinals, and is my favorite tree. I like that you have one like that as well. I also have one tree where I only put vintage shiny brites. 🙂
Sushi looks adorable!
12 trees! You go girl! I didn’t have the energy to put my full size tree in my dining room so added that small white tree of cardinals. Actually, my daughter decorated that tree – she had a vision and I let her go with it! It turned out so cute! Enjoy your cardinal tree and have a very merry Christmas Glenore!
I hardly know where to begin! Your tour is always one of my favorites – never cookie cutter and that’s why I love it so much! Your staircase is amazing – love that Santa so much perched up there! The squirrel with the lightbulbs – the tree in the Igloo cooler – that amazing vintage snow shovel – the red birds in the dining room – that perfect little red tea towel that is sooo Kelly Elko, and you can’t beat Sushi in a little red and white hat! Ok – enough gushing! Amazing tour!
Oh Doreen you made my day! Thanks so much for all your love and support! I wish you a very Merry Christmas and so does Sushi!!
Thank you so much for sharing your holiday home! I love your staircase and your mantle and all
I can say is “Sushi!!” So cute!!!
My pleasure Jen and thanks for including me once again! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
I love it all Kelly!!! Everything looks so fun and festive!
Thanks Vanessa – wishing you a very Merry!
Where did you purchase the galvanized looking metal cabinet with glass doors? I have an old farmhouse with a hallway that I’d like to put a piece of industrial furniture in. Love your decorating!!
Hi Andrea – you can find the affiliate cabinet here and it’s half price right now! http://bit.ly/2chOyge
Beautiful! Your Sushi is just too adorable!

Beautiful Kelly! I always love seeing your house come to life at the holidays!
Thanks so much Jen – Merry Christmas!
I love your vintage tobacco tins, I also have some, I love them!!
Aren’t they fun! I have a cowboy too – I haven’t seen any in ages at the thrift store – but I’m on the hunt!
Some really great decorating ideas. I’m not sure I can pick my favorite.
No need to pick – enjoy and have a very merry Linda!
It’s so cute! Love the metal cabinet with olive buckets on top and old shovel. ?
Thanks Lisa – I actually have two of those shovels – one was my hubbies and the other his sisters!
Kelly!!!! You really outdid yourself this year.
The house looks amazing, and Sushi is just the cutest!!
Merry Christmas, Shan
Thanks Shannon! Sushi did a great job this year didn’t she!!
No one does a christmas tour like you and sushi. love it all!
Sushi says thanks – she planned the whole thing!
Wow, I love ever single bit of it!
Thanks so much Beth and wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Beautiful, beautiful home! I’m in LOVE with your crystal door knobs and the little fire truck! Merry Christmas!
Thanks Dell! That little truck was my husbands – I saved it from my mom in laws attic!
wow! I want to go to a Christmas party at your house! So festive. I love your dining chairs! Also I want that crate of old vintage ornaments in that coke container-gorgeous.
You’re welcome at my house any time … just bring wine!!!
Your house is always so much fun! Love the bubble chandie and the squirrel hoarding the Christmas lights. And Sushi is beyond cute in that hat!
Thanks Jennifer – that squirrel was a $3 thrift store find! Sushi sends kisses!
Everything is so pretty ! Cozy yet cheerful. Just my style. Love all of it !
Merry Christmas Rose!!
Love it all but those Mercury glass snowmen and old pedal cars are the best! How wonderful it all looks.
I think I knocked a few people over as I ran towards those snowmen Cecilia – I hope nobody was hurt!
Love, love, love the staircase! Did I mention I love it? And that does it, gonna get my husband to get our son’s old pedal firetruck down from the attic-your whole home looks amazing! I am so stinking happy with these holiday tours this year-has really put me in the Christmas spirit and it’s not even December- well for one more day! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Susan – I’m so glad you are digging the old firetruck out of your attic! Enjoy it!
How fun is it to live in your home! LOVE those cookie jars and that pillow with “rudolph” is sooo cute!
Nicely done!
Thank you Melissa – it’s fun to have a pillow with our very own little cutie on it!
So gorgeous! Love the new dining room chairs as well. Makes me crave a big cup of cocoa and a roaring fire!
Drink up Hope – cheers to a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you Hope – enjoy that cocoa!
Kelly, sorry I am so late with your tour, catching up, maybe?? So many thing I love in your tour. The shovel, vintage balls, pillows and puppy Rudolph pillow. I could go on and on, beautiful tour.
Cindy
Thanks so much Cindy! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Your fireplace is so festive and charming! I just want to curl up next to it, watching the flames while eating popcorn and drinking milk (10 points if you can name that children’s book reference)! Also– your pup is adorable.
I get 0 points because I have no clue what that book is – so you know I’m going to google it! Sushi sends hugs!!
Love that little Sushi and all the red trucks 🙂 Super Cute !!!
Sushi sends kisses! She wants to go on a blind date with that big burly dog of yours!
Sushi sends hugs and kisses!
I just happened upon your site???? I adore your quirky, unique, fun, beautiful style! I have a very primitive country decor, but when someone has your great decorating sense, I love the style, regardless ❤️

I literally want to shop in your house Kelly!!! Fantastic tour and love, love, love all the inspiration (Yes, I couldn’t say LOVE enough! The elf hats on the sillhuottes are a perfect touch and all your vintage Christmas decor is just making me drool (that pedal car is I’m sure, the girls will be arguing over years from now on who gets it!)! Time and time again you have managed to show off an entirely different Christmas home in the same house! I salute you and will forever be a fan! So honored to share the home tours with you Kelly! Cheers!
Thanks so much Vel – you made my day! Wishing you a very merry Christmas and I can’t wait to see what you have up your decorating sleeve!
Stunning!!!! I wish I could pick a favorite, maybe the little fire truck. But I have a question. We are converting our garage into a family room and I wanted to know what size those gorgeous windows are that you have in your living room. It looks like 3 together? Just wondering so I could tell my contractor. We are desperate for light down there and they look like they’d fill the garage door opening perfectly!
I don’t even know where to start, it’s just all so gorgeous and perfectly Christmas!!!
Thanks so much Shelley!
Kelly you have such an inviting, warm, & cozy home. The holiday cheer puts a smile on my face. Such beautiful pieces combined with your crafty items create the perfect Christmas Home Sweet Home! Thank you for the sensational ideas and for sharing your home with us.
Thanks so much Karin – wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Your home is just stunning – and Sushi is so adorable it’s killing me!
Thank you so much Janet – Sushi sends love!
I love, love, love all of your vintages touches! What a welcoming, lovely home!
Thanks so much Kathy – happy holidays!
I absolutely LOVE the way you decorate! Plenty of sentimental items (your husbands cute painted vintage shovel!) paired up beside the sparkly new things in a clean and festive home. You’ve done a great job. Thank you for sharing and helping with all of the great ideas. I already have many similar items to the ones you use and, paired with your perspective, this gives me new ideas and hope for creating a fresher look this December. My take away from the tour is that items “shine” more when less is used. I have been using too much and getting a look that is more cluttered and I love how clean your decorating style is. Time to break out the storage boxes so some items can be used in rotation or to send them off the thrift store so they can come to a new life with someone else. Thanks again!
It’s so hard to walk the line between cluttered and not enough! I struggle every day because I love to collect things! Enjoy your finds and have a very Merry Christmas Leilani!
Kelly! Everything about this tour is absolutely perfect! I can’t even decide what I love best! Although that pretty white fluffy tree with the cardinals is definitely near the top! Amazing! Hope you’re enjoying your holidays!
Thanks so much Tricia – and a very Merry Christmas to you!
Favorite tour this year. Love how you add color
Thank you so much Andrea – you made my day!
Kelly! Your tour is so beautiful! I’m not sure which part is my favorite but I sure did love the staircase and that white tree with red birds is absolutely adorable! Merry Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you for linking up your tour! xox, Emily
Thank you Emily – wishing you a very merry Christmas!
Your home feels so warm and personal. I can’t get over how festive it all looks, you have so many cute vintage touches throughout. Really amazing tour!
I spy your Kurt S Adler Hello Kitty ornament. I’ve gotten one for my daughter every year and she now has twelve different ones. =)
I get my girls new ornaments every year! That was their Hello Kitty phase! This year, I got them each a little VW bug ornament because they just got their drivers licenses!
So in love with the cardinal tree wherever did you find the birds
Thank you Linda! I found that flock of cardinals a few years ago at Home Depot but they are no longer for sale. Here are similar ornaments: http://bit.ly/2R47jWM
Every little bit about your vintage-inspired eclectic combination is perfect. Everything about your home makes me feel as though it’s Christmas! This is a great idea, Kelly!
